Rihanna and Matt Kemp have reportedly broken up -- ending a relationship that the singer often insisted was just a fun thing.
Sources told the magazine ”It happened over the last few weeks…she basically was just over it.” Despite reports that implied he cheated, the “insider” said that the LA Dodger ultimately couldn’t keep up with the Loud singer’s schedule. ”Matt’s sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal,” the source added.
Don’t feel too bad for Rih Rih. Apparently she wasn’t ever that attached: ”It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun.”
At least Matt served a good purpose: helping Rihanna rebound from her relationship with Chris Brown. In June, she said: ”I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable and it’s so easy. [The relationship] is just my peace. It keeps me sane.”
