A cheeky car ad showing a racy, playful scene between two lesbians is grabbing attention on TV screens in Italy. Take a look at the ad for the Renault Twingo here.
Some news reports suggested that the ad was banned from TV transmission in Italy, but in fact it is being seen during late-night programming on several channels.
However, Italian lesbians are divided about whether the ad is a fun representation of gay women, or an exploitation of them. “We wanted to create an advert that was original, enjoyable and at the same time not vulgar, and I believe we have achieved that,” the ad’s producers explain.
