A jeweller died after he locked himself into a spiked collar during role-playing sexual games with a 68-year-old dominatrix, an inquest heard.
Lionel Webster, 61, who had two children, was found slumped on the floor of a Staffordshire garage, shackled to a wooden frame with several chains - one of which was around his genitals. He was wearing an unzipped orange boiler suit covered in arrows, with knee-high stilletto boots and a fake prisoner number written some inches below his navel.

At the inquest at Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire Coroner's Chambers in Hartshill, Staffs, Ann Richardson, 68, a dominatrix, explained that Mr Webster had been tied up, blindfolded and ordered to wear a balaclava.
She said he had then asked to be treated like a military prisoner that had gone absent without leave and needed to be punished. She told the hearing that she was attempting to stimulate Mr Webster, from Ashbourne, Derbyshire, with a battery-powered electrical device but was getting no reponse. He then made a sudden "ooh" noise, she said, and jumped but claimed that he was fine so she carried on. Read more.
