UK TV Network Facing Investigation Over Daytime Promos For Lesbian Reality Show “Candy Bar Girls”.

The promos for Candy Bar Girls, a reality show about the “lives and loves” of six lesbians living in London’s Soho neighborhood, have received at least ten complaints about their mildly racy content airing during daytime hours when kids could be watching.

The description from the Channel 5 website is: “The Candy Bar…offers viewers a unique insight into the previously unseen side of Soho. These are real lives, real loves, real people. In this six part series, the drama starts to unfold as we join the cast in their race against time getting the Candy Bar ready for its re-launch after a recent refurbishment. Viewers will be drawn into a world filled with raunchy drama and unique characters. The series aims to explore the day-to-day experiences of the girls as they look for the ideal date, find the perfect flat-mate and deal with relationship break ups.

The series will also explore the girls’ relationships with their families and find out how their parents and those closest to them feel about their lifestyle choices. We follow the Candy Bar girls on their journey as they look for the answers, all set against the backdrop of a giant and vibrant city”.

Claims NFL cheerleader and teacher who tried hard to fight nasty online sex rumours.

Sarah Jones lived what some may say was a charmed life. She was in a committed relationship with her high school sweetheart, had a job she loved teaching high school English and math, and was a professional cheerleader for the NFL Cincinnati Bengals.

But when a photo of her and Cincinnati Bengals kicker Shayne Graham appeared on the web, Jones' sweet life quickly turned sour. The photo was posted anonymously on a site called The Dirty.com, along with lurid and hurtful comments she said were untrue.

Jones emailed the site, pleading for TheDirty.com to take down the picture and the comments. "I am begging you, before you ruin my reputation, to please remove my photos from your website," she wrote.

But six weeks later, another photo with more lurid comments surfaced. In one comment, a poster claimed that Jones had had sex in her classroom. "To stand in front of thirty 15 year-olds and tell them you don't have two STDs and that you are not a slut is the hardest thing you will ever have to do," she said.

The government has promised to fix the road, but so far has not followed through.

For more than 20 years, the government has been promising to do something about the dodgy road, which has been left in a worse state following mudslides and heavy rain, but is yet to stay true to its word, the Wall Street Journal reports. It currently takes more than 10 hours for people to travel the 56km to the nearest town.

Biker pulled over by NYPD for sexy outfit

After  Jasmijn Rijckenhad dismounted on Broadway in SoHo, an NYPD officer stopped, berated, and threatened to ticket Rijcken for wearing a skirt while cycling, which, it must be noted, is entirely legal and common. Rijcken says the officer told her that her skirt was dangerous because she would distract drivers and potentially cause them to crash.

“I was standing there next to my bike, looking at my map, and then this police guy stops and starts telling me about my skirt,” reported Rijcken. “At first I thought he was making a joke or maybe even a compliment, but then I found out he was serious because he got really mad.”

The officer got out of his car and threatened to ticket her, said Rijcken, even though, it bears repeating, there is no law against biking in a skirt. The justification for a potential ticket was the danger her exposed skin posed to everyone on the street. “That was the bottom line, that I was very dangerous,” said Rijcken. “I think every woman, even when walking in a skirt, would be dangerous then.”

According to Rijcken, the cop’s words were not merely an empty threat. He took her ID and only began to back down when he saw that she was Dutch. She hurriedly explained that in Amsterdam, it’s common for women to bike in skirts. In the end, the officer told her she should change into pants and let her go.

Heidi Klum to go nude for 'Runway' ad campaign

Former supermodel Heidi Klum is stripping down to promote Lifetime's TV show Project Runway.

Klum will appear nude as part of the network's promotional campaign for the fashion competition series' ninth season, which starts this summer.

Lifetime TV president and general manager Nancu Dubic - who stepped in a year ago to revamp the channel's reputation - said she chose the naked image of Heidi realising that she didn't need to look any further for a "brazen, strong, confident and sexy" model who embodied the channel's new values. 

She said: "It's Heidi f***ing Klum!" Dubuc added to grab publis attention.

Suburban couples who swap partners will be the focus of a new reality series from Lionsgate Television.

Lionsgate TV is picking up the life of swingers as an object of its new reality series. The company has been developing "Bedroom Community", which will follow suburban couples who swap partners, and has shot a presentation for the project.

"What we have seen on shows about swingers are primarily older hippies, fringe people who are a little bit dirty," Frankel said. "What we found are elite groups of people in upscale communities who are good-looking and have money and access."

Swinging in American suburbia came to the awareness of the media in the 1960s and was the focus of the short-lived CBS drama "Swingtown," which was set in the 1970s.

Woman awarded €17k over accusation of stealing French maid outfit

An ex-shop assistant in the Republic of Ireland has been awarded €17,000 in damages after claiming she had been publicly accused of trying to steal a French maid's outfit.

The UK-based chain sells lingerie, sex toys and adult party wear.  Shop assistant Michelle O’Neill, 40, of Artane, Co Dublin, said that she had been humiliated when her team leader accused her of stealing a black-and-white French maid’s outfit in earshot of her colleagues and customers.

Barrister Michael Fox, counsel for Ms O'Neill, told Mr Justice Matthew Deery that another staff member, Gloria Kangstrom, had searched Ms O'Neill's bag and lifted the parcel from it and asked: "A maid's outfit?"

After discovering her mistake she said to other staff: "Oh! I thought it was a French maid's outfit in her bag."
