Sexy Anchorwomen Distracting to Male Viewers
The following hard science study does not bode well for all those topless anchorwomen—according to two researchers from Indiana University, male viewers will certainly sit up and pay attention to a sexy female newscaster, but that doesn’t mean they’ll absorb the news any better. Less so, in fact.
The researchers used one of the “most compelling visual cues of female sexual attractiveness”—or, the magical “waist-to-hip” ratio—to test their subjects. They placed volunteers in front of newscasts first with an anchorwomen tarted up in a tight-fitting dark blue jacket, jewelry and lipstick and then with an anchorwomen in a loose jacket with no jewelry or lipstick.
According to a ten-question survey given to the volunteers afterwards, the male participants in the study “saw the sexualized version of the anchor as less suited for war and political reporting. They also encoded less news information presented by the sexualized than her unsexualized version.” Meaning, maybe they were a bit distracted by that lipstick. Female participants on the other hand actually absorbed more information from the sexy anchor than the unsexy one—saucy, ladies.

Lingerie Football League players in Playboy
Since its inception, the Lingerie Football League has certainly brought fans a unique sort of entertainment.
Chelsie Jorgensen, a member of the Seattle Mist women's Lingerie Football League team that plays at the ShoWare Center in Kent, appears in the February issue of Playboy.
Ten players in all are featured in the 8-page nude pictorial. People might think the brand of football these ladies play is a bit amateurish, but they tell Playboy that it’s a gross misconception.
“We like to look hot, but we like to hit people, too.” Adds Ashley Helmstetter: “It’s real athletes playing real football. It’s not just inexperienced models running around pretending to tackle one another.”
German Porn Star Is Dead After Sixth Breast Enlargement
A German porn star went into a coma and died after undergoing her sixth breast enlargement.
Carolin Berger, who used the stage name “Cora” in adult films, underwent the cosmetic surgery in an attempt to boost her popularity, the Daily Mail reported today. The 23-year-old blond beauty was in a medically induced coma for nine days before dying Thursday from complications following a surgery to increase her chest size from 34F to 34G.
Carolin Berger had become well known to the public after appearing last year on the German version of the reality show “Big Brother,” according to the BBC. Over several episodes her behavior became more wild, including one episode in which she stripped topless and flirted with another cast member.

Ottawa art gallery to rent out space for porn shoots
An Ottawa art gallery struggling to pay the bills is offering its space to adult film producers looking for an "artsy" backdrop.
Negotiations are under way to use an unusually named art gallery in Ottawa as an off-hours film set for pornographic films, its owner says.
"It's exciting for me to share my space," said gallery owner Guy Bérubé, as he pointed out the various features of the gallery — which is already named after the French euphemism for "orgasm."
In English, the gallery's name means "The Little Death," a French term for an orgasm.
Bérubé has rented out his gallery for private events in the past, but said he can charge double for adult films.
"I'm a starving gallerist," he said. "It takes some of the pressure away of having to sell constantly to pay our bills." Other Ottawa gallery owners have mixed feelings about Bérubé's idea.

They do not stand accused of doing anything illegal, and in many respects their apparent love for one another has been celebrated in an era where big time professional sports seems to lend itself to sexual scandals that rip apart lives and families.
