Reality show icon Kim Kardashian and pop sensation Lady Gaga have threatened Pipedream Products Inc. with legal action for manufacturing and distributing blow-up dolls in their image.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star was upset to find out that she was made into a life-size adult blow-up doll called “Kinky Kim Filthy Love Doll”. On the front cover of the box, a model, bearing a rather convincing resemblance to Kim, is seductively posing in the bedroom while eating a burger and fries. On the back cover, there are a few dirty phrases and the model is shown posing nude with lettuce and tomatoes strategically placed to cover her private body parts.
Lady Gaga, on the other hand, was marketed by Pipedream as “Lady Gag Gag Love Doll” with the taglines: “She loves it when you poke her face” and “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick”. The avant-garde singer’s legal team filed a lawsuit against the sex toys company for copyright infringement. Soon after, the offensive object was pulled from distribution. Read more...
