Dr. Goes Through Airport Security in Lingerie

No shirt? No pants? No problem, at least when trying to get through airport security in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Tammy Banovac, a 52-year-old retired surgeon, decided to go through Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City on Tuesday wearing nothing but lace lingerie.

The wheelchair-bound lady showed up this way because of her horrible experience getting a pat down the last time she was at the airport—the situation left her feeling violated. "If it happened anywhere else, it would have been sexual assault,” she told a newspaper.

Looking to make light of the whole body scanner/patdown controversy? Then say hello to the “Miss TSA Calendar,” a collection of photos that show girls in classic pinup positions. The pictures are all x-rays, so the only things that are visible in them are bones and the models’ high heels.

The images don’t actually have anything to do with the TSA. As Copyranter noted way back in June, when the pictures first surfaced, they’re the work of Japanese tech company EIZO. The pics were taken for a calendar that’s promoting a line of high-end computer monitors to doctors. The calendar itself is available for purchase on eBay.

Justin Bieber's 'Latin Girl' Leaks

Here's an unreleased track that didn't make the final cut on Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0" album (2010). The recently leaked uptempo record is entitled "Latin Girl".

The chorus is somewhat catchy...yes...but the song as a whole (the lyrics! xD) turned out to be super corny. I totally understand this was not included on the final CD. The Canadian star will finally bring his "My World Tour" to Europe in 2011 with 21 dates confirmed thus far.

Bieber is currently doing a short promo trail in Europe having appeared on big profile TV shows in the UK, Spain and most recently France, promoting his new "My Worlds Acoustic" album.

Insect imagery wins bad sex award

Author Rowan Somerville won literature's little-coveted Bad Sex in Fiction Prize in London for the use of unsettling insect imagery in his novel "The Shape of Her".

Judges of the literary award said they were impressed by a passage comparing lovemaking to "a lepidopterist mounting a toughskinned insect". The animal imagery continues elsewhere in the novel, a tale of desire set in Greece. One character's fingers are described as "tender enough to hold a tiny bird".

Somerville, who was born in UK and lives in Ireland, said that "there is nothing more English than bad sex". Previous winners include such literary heavyweights as Sebastian Faulks, Norman Mailer and John Updike.
